How to register on line with Impact Sports Coaching
Our on line registration process is the first point of contact most coaches have with Impact Sports coaching. It is essential that the information contained in the profile is accurate and kept up to date given that it is the starting point for selecting coaches into the agency.
Once a coach has registered on the website, their details are automatically sent to the team HQ where the vetting and interviewing process will begin. Their details will be checked against minimum operating standards, and should these be acceptable then the coach will be invited for an interview and observation session.
Minimum standards are important to ensure safety, quality, and to adhere to all safeguarding requirements. Until this information is completed to our satisfaction then a coach will not work with us.
If successful, the coach will then become one of a pool of coaches in the Impact Sports Coaching team. They will undergo an induction programme, be assigned a mentor, and undergo a training needs analysis to help with their continual professional development. The agency will then endeavour to find suitable work placements for the coach.
Registering will take about 25 minutes to complete fully. Please have details such as dates of qualification to hand.
Here is a step by step guide showing how to register:
Go to our website at www.impactbucks.org
On the home page click on the large blue button: "Register as a coach".
Start to create your coach profile here by inputting your email address ad selecting a password.
Add your photo to your coach profile and click on start your profile. (This is important so that people you are coaching for know who to expect).
Input your contact details here. Please fill in address and telephone number so we may contact you. (This data is not shared with other organisations).
Input your details on the next screen such as date of birth. (Important to know for minimum operating standards).
As you build up your profile, you will notice that the number of ticks at the top of the screen will increase and the % of your profile complete will increase.
If you have any coaching qualifications, please input the information on what they are for, when they were achieved and what level they are for here. Without this YOU WILL NOT BE VALIDATED.
Please input details on your coaching experience. It is especially important to write your personal statement giving information on what you have done and what you would like to do as this will help us to find suitable placements for you.
You are now just over half way through registration. Please input any details on education and training you have achieved.
Please input information about in what capacity you would like to coach (voluntary or paid work), and how many hours per week you would like to work.
Finally you will need to sign the agreement saying that you agree to our terms and conditions. (Please read the terms and conditions)
Once you have clicked on this it will send off your application for validation assessment by the Impact team. If the information is insufficient we will not validate you and we will contact you. (After one month you will be removed from the system if we hear nothing).
