The conference is taking place on 16th May in Loughborough and looks to educate coaches about the Female Athlete Triad i.e. a combination of 3 conditions associated with females doing intensive exercise: menstrual dysfunction, disordered eating and osteoporosis.

The conference will:

• Increase coaches' understanding of the risks of the Female Athlete Triad
• Illustrate how coaches can work with medical practictioners to support athletes in the best way.
• Explore the role in the coach as part of a team-based approach for the recognition and prevention of Triad.
