A unique opportunity to take part in a Triple Jump Masterclass

England Athletics is delighted to announce a Triple Jump Coaching Masterclass featuring coaches Peter Stanley, (coach to Jonathan Edwards), John Crotty (National Coach Mentor for England Athletics), Jonathan Edwards (World Record holder), Brazilian triple jumper Jadel Gregorio (World Championship Silver Medallist 2007), Nelson Evora (Olympic Champion 2008, World Champion 2007) and Ben Williams (World Youth Champion 2009).

The Masterclass will take place on Monday 31 August at the Gateshead Hilton, (0.5 miles from Gateshead International Stadium) from 10am to 12 noon. This is scheduled to take place immediately prior to the Aviva British Grand Prix.

There is no charge for this Triple Jump Masterclass. Each place will include one free ticket to the Aviva British Grand Prix later in the day.

England Athletics' Head of Coaching Richard Wheater commented: "We are delighted to be able to offer this Masterclass on triple jumping. The line-up of speakers we are able to offer is world class and we are very appreciative to each of the speakers for being willing to share their expertise.

"We hope that coaches take this opportunity to gain the very highest level of input as we work together to raise the standard of coaching and athletes' performances in England."

Richard continued: "This Masterclass follows the Women's Coaching Conference we held on the Saturday morning of the Crystal Palace Grand Prix. That conference saw 150 coaches in attendance and we were privileged to listen to some of the USA's leading female coaches and administrators alongside Liz McColgan, and Brooks Johnson who has pushed forward Gender Equity in the United States in a very big way."

"These two events highlight our commitment to making the very best provision for our coaches."

Places on the Triple Jump Masterclass are limited and we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.

"Joe was an excellent coach - explained things clearly - wasn't phased by children going in and out of the session - had a firm but fair attitude"

"Excellent sessions, I would recommend them (the Impact Coaches) and Joe to anyone who needed ideas for skills based P.E."
