Bucks and Milton Keynes Sports Partnership are proud to announce that our new Coach Agency is now up and running. We have a team of full time coaches working for us who are delivering high quality coaching sessions across the county and we are now looking to expand the team with a range of opportunities. We will continue to bring you up to date with news from the Agency and how we plan to grow, but let us take this opportunity to tell you more about us.

So what exactly is the Coach Agency?
Think of us as a "one-stop-shop" where you can come to find a high quality sports coach who you can be assured is Enhanced CRB checked, fully up-to-date with first aid certificates, has the appropriate insurance, and is also undergoing comprehensive Continual Professional Development to expand their skills. We take away the worry of you having to spend time and money on issues such as finding a coach and meeting the requirements of ever-changing and complicated legislation as you deal directly with us for everything. For coaches, the agency enables you to spend more time coaching and less time filling in paperwork. We also offer you access to training and mentoring and to feel part of a team.

Who do you work with?
The Coach Agency is fully committed to providing high quality coaching and increasing participation in sport throughout all strands of our community. For example, we are here to work with people of all ages, young or old, schools, faith groups, youth organisations, sports clubs, leisure centres, disability groups, and youth groups.

How are you funded?
We are a not-for-profit organisation operating as part of the Bucks & Milton Keynes Sports Partnership. We are nationally funded by Sport England, LEA backed, and hosted by Aylesbury Vale District Council. As such you can rest assured that we are fully committed to providing a high level of service that is value for money. Any surplus made by the Agency is ploughed straight back into the organisation to ensure we provide competitively priced coaching with high levels or service for all our customers.

What types of activities can you help with?
As we are still in our infancy, the Agency is continually increasing the number of sports we are able to coach. Our coaches can be booked by the hour, for half days and for full days. We can also provide coaching for events such as sports festivals, mini tournaments, and holiday clubs. Contact us to find out more.

Can you tell me more about the coaches?
At present we have a small team of full time coaches. As the agency grows, we plan to add to this team with a mixture of full time and part time coaches as well as coach apprentices and volunteers. All coaches will be required to operate within the high standards of the agency thus guaranteeing quality and consistency. Not only does this all help to provide a wide range of sports we can coach, but it also gives us the flexibility to provide coaching when you need it and it helps to provide career pathways for those wanting to work in coaching.
